Decoration Methods Guide
Every imprint method has strengths. Learn which one matches your product, budget, and brand aesthetic for the best possible result.
Screen Print
$ LowA classic, cost-effective printing technique that pushes ink through a fine mesh stencil onto the product surface. Ideal for bold, vibrant designs with limited color counts. Screen printing delivers excellent coverage on flat surfaces and is the go-to for high-volume orders.
Pad Print
$ LowUses a silicone pad to transfer ink from an etched plate onto irregular or curved surfaces. Perfect for small, detailed logos on pens, electronics, and rounded products. Pad printing handles challenging surfaces that screen printing cannot reach.
Laser Engraving
$$ MediumA high-precision method that uses a focused laser beam to etch designs directly into the surface of the material. Creates a permanent, premium mark that will never fade, peel, or wash off. Particularly striking on metal and wood products.
UV Digital Print
$$ MediumFull-color digital printing cured instantly with ultraviolet light. Allows photographic-quality images, gradients, and unlimited colors without the cost of individual color screens. Excellent for complex artwork, small runs, and fast turnarounds.
Embossing / Debossing
$$ MediumCreates a raised (embossed) or recessed (debossed) impression of your logo in the material itself. A subtle, sophisticated method that adds tactile dimension and executive appeal without any ink. Particularly elegant on leather and paper products.
Embroidery
$$$ HighThread-based stitching that creates a textured, premium look on fabric products. Embroidery conveys quality and permanence, and is the standard for corporate apparel, hats, and bags. Designs are digitized and then stitched with commercial thread.
Full Color Process
$$ MediumAlso called 4-color process or CMYK printing. Reproduces full-color artwork, photographs, and gradients with high fidelity. Typically applied via transfer or direct-to-surface methods. The best choice when your design includes many colors or photographic elements.
Epoxy Dome
$$ MediumA clear, polyurethane resin coating applied over a printed design to create a raised, glossy dome effect. The dome protects the print and adds a premium, three-dimensional appearance. Popular on lapel pins, keychains, and electronics where a jewel-like finish is desired.
